• Encouraging the breeding of better finches and softbills in captivity

• Supporting conservation of finch/softbill species in aviculture

• Promoting exhibition by hosting an NFSS-sanctioned local show, encouraging newcomers to show, and supporting other shows in the surrounding area

Meetings

The FSBEC meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at 7:30 pm and are currently being held in Palatine, IL. Meetings are for members only. If you are interested in becoming a member and would like to visit us for a meeting, please contact the membership director by selecting FSBEC Membership Director on our Officer's Contact Page.

Membership

Yearly membership dues are as follows:

• Single Membership - $20
• Family Membership - $30
• Junior Membership - $5

You can join by filling out the membership application and mailing it to the membership director with your payment (checks only). If you wish to pay via Pay Pal, please contact us and we will send you more information.
